Townhouses

A townhouse is a hybrid of a city apartment and a country house; its main disadvantages and advantages, as well as differences from other real estate, will be discussed in the article.

How a townhouse differs from an apartment The main difference between a townhouse and an apartment is the increased area. If the area of a 3-room apartment in a new building is approximately 100-150 square meters, then a townhouse can rarely be found with an area of less than 200 square meters. Also, when purchasing a townhouse, you can get an additional plot of land and a parking space or even a garage. And as an added bonus, there is no need to contact your neighbors. In this context, a townhouse is much more like a private house than an apartment.

One of the main differences between a townhouse and a private house is its price. And a townhouse in this setting is much more profitable. Townhouses are cheaper due to the following points: building materials are saved, since there is no need to build a separate house; heat losses will be minimal due to a common wall heated by two neighbors at once; the vertical layout makes it possible to place everything on a minimum area of land, accordingly, the cost will be lower than in a full-fledged cottage; communications are carried out simultaneously to several sections, which also reduces their cost.
